Great trailer for the upcoming fantasy film directed by Terry Gilliam and written by Gilliam and Charles McKeown. The film follows the leader of a travelling theatre troupe who, having made a deal with the Devil, takes audience members through a magical mirror to explore their imaginations. One word: Awesome!

WTF? A "speaking piano"? Reciting the Proclamation of the European Environmental Criminal Court at the World Venice Forum 2009? Why, sure thing! Unfortunately it's all in German, but what the piano says is all English. And scary. I was afraid that robots would take over the world. I was wrong. It's pianos we have to be afraid of. Very afraid.

Balloons in liquid nitrogen
Really cool video of a scientific experiment (yeah, right!) in which Matt Strafuss, a technical instructor in MIT's Physics Department, demonstrates the ideal gas law. A drop in temperature with fixed mass and external pressure will result in a smaller volume, and vice-versa. Science but awesome. Because of the ballons, you see.

For Improv Everywhere's latest public prank, over 2,000 people walked "invisible dogs" down the streets of Brooklyn on a Sunday afternoon. The leashes were on loan from the current owner of 51 Bergen Street, the factory space where the invisible dog toy was invented in the 1970s.
