Another fantastic music video by MrAndyDick (at least that's his youtube username). For this video he took only sounds and footage from "The Three Caballeros" (the animated 1944 film produced by Walt Disney) to remix it all together into one awesome video for all to enjoy. The word you're looking for is probably AWESOME!
Awesome and trippy music video made by using only sounds and footage from "Fantastic Planet", an animated 1973 science fiction film directed by Rene Laloux. I remember watching this as a kid. One of the best films I have ever seen. And the tune is quite trippy!
Now, if you don't know Cyriak, you don't know the internet. He does some of the most awesome, wacky, craziest animation I have ever come across. This is food for your brain on drugs, or if you need a gentle WTF now and then.
A compilation of various commercial work I've been doing recently(ish). Just thought I'd upload this in case anyone is wondering where the hell I've been for the last year or so.
Projects on the reel include the title sequence for BBC2 show 'Genius', 'My Territory' music video and a number of videos for CBBC and Blue Peter
Funny new trailer for the upcoming comedy featuring Robin Williams. This sorta reminds me of the time when I was a teenager. What a terrible phase that was...
Lance Clayton is a man who has learned to settle. He dreamed of being a rich and famous writer, but has only managed to make it as a high school poetry teacher. His only son Kyle is an insufferable jackass who wont give his father the time of day. He is dating Claire, the schools adorable art teacher, but she doesnt want to get serious -- or even acknowledge publicly that they are dating. Then, in the wake of a freak accident, Lance suffers the worst tragedy and greatest opportunity of his life. He is suddenly faced with the possibility of all the fame, fortune and popularity he ever dreamed of, if he can only live with the knowledge of how he got there.
Cool second trailer for the upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie. Looks fine and Michael Bay has nothing to do with it, so it's probably not going to suck. Or, as the Youtube description says
"A darker, more sophisticated version of Sherlock Holmes and his trusted number two, Dr. Watson."
Cool video from Diego Stocco, who wondered what it would sound like if a tree outside his house made music. So he did this cool music video for all of us to enjoy.
In the garden of my house there's a tree with lots of randomly grown twigs. It looks odd and nice at the same time. One day I asked myself if I could create a piece of music with it.
To tune the tree I picked a fundamental note and tuned the twigs by trimming them with a pencil sharpener. I used two Røde NT6 and a NTG-2 as microphones, combined with a customized stethoscope.
I recorded the tracks live on a Pro Tools LE system. I didn't use any synthesizer or sampler to create or modify the sounds. All the sounds come from playing the tree, by bowing the twigs, shaking the leaves, playing rhythms on the cortex and so on.
Funny comedy clip from Mr Show, it's all about blowing up the moon. You know, because we can. And should. The moon is a bastard.
"In early October, the spacecraft will send a heavy rocket crashing into the moon's south polar region on a mission to find water that could support future crews bound for Mars. With its mission finished, the spacecraft itself then will die in its own final crash into the lunar surface."
This is an awesome trailer for It's always sunny in Philadelphia, the comedy from the FX Network, using the Dayman song. It's quite popular on the internets, so they cut up a nice version that's made up of many versions. If I don't make sense, watch it. It's Friday and I smuggled some booze into the LOL Factory towers (my basement).

Will the Aussies stop Fred from reaching the crease?
Looks like nothing can halt Freddie Flintoff from reaching the big game, not even two Aussie pranksters swapping his car for a dreaded pedalo. Check out the video now then head over to eBay to bid on the actual pedalo Fred uses. We’re auctioning it off for charity, with every penny of the proceeds going to the Andrew Flintoff Foundation – a charity that helps fund physio wings in kids’ hospitals around the UK. So bid now and bid well.

OK, if you're an animal rights type of person, then this video is probably not for you. This is a video of a cute little bear cub living in a zoo somewhere in that is afraid of other animals. Lion cubs for example. So, of course, the best way to teach the little bear NOT to be afraid of other animals is to throw them all together into his pen. You know, to "train" the animal instics. Not for our amusement. Ahem...
Funny trailer for the upcoming and hotly anticipated follow-up to Quirk Books' international best seller, 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies'. However, this trailer could do with a little more of the sea monster. A lot more.
Jack and Jill are always hurting each others feelings. But like Mum said, Its all fun and games until someone loses an eye. This awesome short film was written by Nash Edgerton & David Michôd.
Cast: Nash Edgerton, Mirrah Foulkes, Chum Ehelepola, Bruno Xavier, Tony Lynch & Joel Edgerton
Ah. This video kinda takes all the "wow" out of the video I posted yesterday, but still...
Here's the easy way to do it - no need for a million takes or fancy cgi, just simple editing and masks.
I'm not saying this is how everyone does it, what I'm saying is "ok i've seen it a thousand times now, go and think of something else please."
Funny spoof trailer for a road movie from Funny or Die. This is funny and it gave me LOLs - see, I don't ask for much.
Two friends embark on a road trip after one suffers a great loss in this new indie film. Featuring an unforgettable soundtrack!

These guys really know how to throw everything. And it shows. This video left me with my mouth wide open (only for a bee to take the opportunity and sting me on my tongue). Of course I am lying, but this is a very cool video. And the order of the day is to watch it. Now!
This is just as much LOL as it is WTF. Not going to say much about it, but there's someone shooting cheese from his hands. Of course this funny commercial is from Japan. We don't have to understand what is going on as long as we have the LOLs.
Well. Obviously this skill might come in handy, you know, after the apocalypse. When humanity has run out of hammers. Until then, this little jolly video shows just a rather crazy Australian guy using his head to smash the windshield of a car. And why the hell not. Also: WTF?
Cheeck and Chong, weed comedy heroes, get into a heated debate about canabis prices (see, even they're suffering from the economic crisis) and decide to "Tron for it", launching themselves into the Trom movie (the famous light bike race). Awesome and rather cool video!

The King Blues in a music mash up with a difference, with lead singer Itch revealing a more poetic leaning in his recital of a Byron classic. His contemporary rendition of ‘we’ll go no more a-roving’ is more in the the style of modern ‘spoken word’, and offset against a live set in which the band are slowed down to demonstrate the impact of the words. Lyrics are poetry when you think about it…
Cool second trailer for the upcoming sci-fi movie District 9. This looks awesome!
Thirty years ago, aliens made first contact with Earth. Humans waited for the hostile attack, or the giant advances in technology. Neither came. Instead, the aliens were refugees, the last survivors of their home world. The creatures were set up in a makeshift home in South Africas District 9 as the worlds nations argued over what to do with them. Now, patience over the alien situation has run out. Control over the aliens has been contracted out to Multi-National United, a private company uninterested in the aliens welfare they will receive tremendous profits if they can make the aliens awesome weaponry work. So far, they have failed; activation of the weaponry requires alien DNA. The tension between the aliens and the humans comes to a head when an MNU field operative, Wikus van der Merwe, contracts a mysterious virus that begins changing his DNA. Wikus quickly becomes the most hunted man in the world, as well as the most valuable he is the key to unlocking the secrets of alien technology. Ostracized and friendless, there is only one place left for him to hide: District 9.
Another great and funny edition of Auto-Tune the news. This video needs no description, I guess everyone is familair with the concept by now. Also, the title pretty much gives it all away, doesn't it?
Funny music video by a musician who went on a flight with United Airlines and had his guitar broken.
In the spring of 2008, Sons of Maxwell were traveling to Nebraska for a one-week tour and my Taylor guitar was witnessed being thrown by United Airlines baggage handlers in Chicago. I discovered later that the $3500 guitar was severely damaged. They didnt deny the experience occurred but for nine months the various people I communicated with put the responsibility for dealing with the damage on everyone other than themselves and finally said they would do nothing to compensate me for my loss. So I promised the last person to finally say no to compensation (Ms. Irlweg) that I would write and produce three songs about my experience with United Airlines and make videos for each to be viewed online by anyone in the world.
Miss Muir is back from her Direct Holiday and she’s returned with a special present!
Miss Muir has been on a hot, hot Direct Holiday and now she’s back at school with her own life size “souvenir” – a well tanned, well fit, six pack toting Spanish waiter. See what the kids think of Juan and the squirty cream! Miss Muir’s in love (or lust) with “the direct effect”!
